End Point Assessment

What I offer

Independent End Point Assessment

I’m currently working as an IEPA across Business skills alongside my work as a curriculum designer.  This allows me to have in depth working knowledge of many standards from end to end.

Curriculum Designer

Working for many different organisations to design and transform offline curriculum (or from scratch!) into fully fledged digital programmes is amongst my favourite things to do.  I work best on Aptem or Onefile but am familiar with many other ePortfolio systems.

Quality Assurance & Programme Management

Having worked as an IQA, I am able to lead and standardise practices across many sectors including Business Skills, ITQ, Childcare and Recruitment.

eLearning Architect (SCORM)

Through my curriculum design work I have created many online courses for clients either on their ePortfolio system or as a SCORM asset to be uploaded to their systems.

Who Am I?

Performer turned FE/HE Specialist

I started out as a performer for some of the world’s largest entertainments companies before returning to the UK and  completing an apprenticeship.  It was there that I made the jump into the FE/HE sector.

I attribute my resilience and joy of raising people’s aspirations to the skills I developed whilst performing across different continents.

Testimonials

A selection of my recommendations via Linkedin:

I had the pleasure of working with Ben during his time at MiddletonMurray. His grasp of technology and how to harness it as part of our delivery was invaluable to the IQA Team.

His positivity and creative thinking was always an asset when faced with challenges. He has a keen desire to uphold quality delivery and will lead from the front on this, and, he would rightly expect the same from his team.

A team player at all times and a true professional. I would highly recommend Ben.

Jackie Oliver

Quality & Curriculum Manager

I’ve now known Ben for over a decade, starting with our time as colleagues at Disneyland Paris. Even back then he brought more professionalism to performance than most.

Over the many years, I’ve interacted with Ben, now in the UK, and in various roles, he always combined creativity with conscientiousness. This surely comes from his artistic and performance background, and his business mindset.

I endorse proudly and highly recommend Ben, as an excellent skilled manager, who now adds credentials and education to what was already a natural strength.

How do I describe Ben? Hardworking, committed, enthusiastic to name a few.

I had the pleasure of working with Ben for 2 years and in that time, I watched him develop from an Assessor, to an Internal Quality Assurer whilst juggling his own caseload of learners up and down the country.

His commitment to his learners, is second to none, as even when they want to give up, he’ll give them plenty of reasons to stay committed to their personal development, complete their qualification and then re-enrol onto another qualification.

Ben’s biggest selling point is his infectious personality. You could have the most negative start to the morning and Ben will some how get you back into a positive mindset. Ben is both an excellent work colleague and amazing assessor.
